Union Inn features a collection of historic rowhouses located in the heart of the NoMa neighborhood in downtown Washington, DC. Completely designed, curated and appointed to meet the standards of the modern traveler, our accommodations are perfect for families, couples, tourists, “staycationers” and business travelers alike. Enjoy DC with us!

Historic 1890’s Rowhouse

This bespoke rowhouse, originally constructed in 1890, seamlessly maintains its historic 19th century character (long double-drainboard farmhouse sink, reclaimed hardwood flooring, 2-person clawfoot tub), while offering all of the modern amenities of a luxury DC rowhome (6-burner double-oven range, heated floors, zoned heating & cooling).

The house features two bedrooms—one with a queen-size bed and another with 4 twin-size beds—and comfortably accommodates up to 8 persons when the sleeper sofa is used. For your digital pleasure, the home comes equipped with 150MB up/150MB down Wi-Fi and a 50″ flat screen TV in the living room. The kitchen is fully stocked and equipped with a 6-burner, double-oven gas range, 8-foot cast iron double-drainboard farmhouse sink, French-door refrigerator, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, French press, Keurig coffee maker and an authentic antique 1900s Hoosier cabinet with a roll-out countertop.

Cozy Pied-à-Terre

Whether in town for a day or two, a conference or an extended stay, this cozy pied-à-terre is perfect for couples, tourists, “staycationers” and business travelers alike…and a master bathroom featuring what promises to be the shower you’ve had all year ;-).

Inside this two-level rowhome, the main level features a working wood fireplace overlooking the large living room. The main level also features a 40″ Smart TV, dining table (seats 6), half bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen with a gas cooker, Keurig coffee maker, electric kettle and French press for brewing morning coffee or tea. Upstairs, our guests have private access to the master bedroom which features a “European-styled” fully-tiled bathroom (i.e. the bathroom’s tiled walls and floor drains enable for showering inside the entire bathroom) The master bedroom also treats guests to a 32” flat-screen TV, work desk and a plush, pillow-top mattress for your sleeping comfort.

LANDMARKS

  • Monuments/Museums/Mall – The obvious “Three M’s” for tourists visiting the city. Almost all are free. Simply take the MetroRail to the ‘Smithsonian’ station (Orange/Blue Line). This puts you relatively in the center of all the action; you can take it from there.

  • Union Station – Completed in 1908, Union Station is considered to be one of the finest examples of the “Beaux-Arts” style of architecture. The main hall is great for photographs (inside and out)

  • Union Market – Located within the larger “Florida Avenue Market” (DC’s only remaining wholesale market), Union Market is one of two active “market halls” in the District

  • H Street Corridor – This stretch of H Street NE features more food/entertainment
